Course contents
The idea of a circular economy is to use economic, natural and social capital wisely and diligently to decouple economic growth and prosperity from consumption of finite resources. In this course, we explore the idea of a “circular economy” and will take a closer look on the following questions:
- What exactly is a “circular economy”? What are the basic principles?
- How can you start to navigate a circular economy approach for your own business?
- What are examples of a successful implementation that already exist?
Type of training
The course will blend different learning approaches but is based on virtual face-to-face learning.
Presentations and short explanatory video clips will be followed by group work with an emphasis on exchange between participants.
An important part of the training will be case-studies of companies having already successfullly implemented elements of the circular economy-approach. Analysis and discussion of findings will help participants understand what can be transferred into their business context.
The training runs over two days with working times from 9.00 - 17.00hrs.
