Trainees will be able to understand a leadership style with a “soft skill” approach and why this is essential nowadays: in order to keep employees motivated and assure competitiveness. They get tools for better understanding the team members and keep the momentum of a motivated team alive.
Based on practical examples the trainees are guided towards the target of how to get the necessary personal “input” from their subordinates and being able to adapt their “output” as leadership style in order to successfully follow the working goal as team or as company.
The need to learn not only about technical skills but also the importance of how these skills and company goals are delivered to subordinates by a professional leadership style. Nowadays the old authoritarian style is less and less accepted and we need the best possible approach towards our team members and people we are responsible for in order to assure good performance and avoiding crisis by motivated employees.
The course has the following objectives and outcomes:
Understand the advantage of a soft skill leadership style and how we use this style best – also respecting a “360”- consideration of a task and the people dealing with.
Each single topic below will cover approximately one h depending on interaction and activity within the work group.
The course will be combining classroom lectures with interactive development of a task and self-training following a questionnaire.

During working experience Bernhard Jedlitschka was trained in leadership styles and the importance of the best style for a assigned team. He has seen people and companies fail due to wrong dealing with the involved parties inside and outside he company. This experience and the theoretical background of understanding others are his goals to deliver and help make working conditions better.
The educational roots go back to a master degree in mining at the Montanuniversity Leoben in1989. Later experience was gained in the mining industry and several cement manufactures (Lafarge, Kirchdorfer Group, Wietersdorfer Group) with international missions and in several functions as process-, production-, laborary- or operational manager.
